Freediving questions, answered

What's the difference between the two options?
Option A (the complete SSI Freediver course) does it all in one structured package, and is the best value. Option B lets you start with Pool Freediver at your own pace, then upgrade for the open water portion later.
Where do I start if I've never freedived?
With a 2-hour Try Freediving session. No experience needed. Love it? Sign up for a course on the same day and RM200 of your Try fee goes towards it. Then choose the complete SSI Freediver course (best value, pool to open water) or Pool Freediver to learn in the pool until you're ready.
What if I can't learn within only a few lessons?
That's exactly why we teach this way. You keep attending scheduled sessions until you've completed every requirement. No fixed lesson count, no rushing.
Can I join alone?
Absolutely. Most of our students sign up on their own. You'll train in a small group with our instructors, and plenty of people leave with dive buddies they keep travelling with.
Do I have to freedive alone?
Never. Freediving is always done with a buddy, for safety, and it's a lot more fun that way too.
How long until I'm certified?
Most students complete Pool Freediver in around 3–4 pool sessions, then complete open water on an expedition. The complete course follows the same arc in one package.
