The full SSI Mermaid course — breath-hold, monofin technique, water safety and the skills that make it look effortless. Underwater photos and video included. Everyone from age 6 can join the training; the official SSI Mermaid certification is issued from age 12 under current SSI standards.

Certification
SSI Mermaid certification from age 12 (upon meeting requirements) + underwater photography/videography. Younger mers train the same skills and can certify once they turn 12.

Do I need freediving experience?
No — the course covers all the breath-hold foundations you need, to a max depth of 5m.
My kid is under 12 — can they join?
Absolutely! Little mers from age 6 join the full training and learn everything alongside everyone else. One honest note: under current SSI standards the official SSI Mermaid certification is issued from age 12 — younger mermaids get the training, the photos and the skills now, and the card when they hit 12. 🧜♀️
